A morning smoothie is a great way to roll the health benefits and energizing qualities of cacao into a filling breakfast on the go.
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup water (ice if you want it cold)
- small handful of ceremonial cacao (0.5 - 1.0 ounce /1.5 -3 tablespoons)
- pinch of hemp seeds and/or chia seeds
- a couple tablespoons of coconut milk
- additional sweetener to taste
Throw everything in the blender and blend until smooth.
- a handful of frozen blueberries
- vanilla, cinnamon or cayenne
- maca powder, goji berries or other high powered foods
